Friday, December 6, 2024, became a day to remember for the Czech and Slovak community in Bali. The entire day and evening were dedicated to connection, sharing, and celebrating friendships.
"Ambassador’s Cup" Golf Tournament
The morning began with a unique golf tournament at the stunning Pandawa Golf Course in Bali. The event brought together Czech and Slovak golfers who competed for the prestigious "Ambassador’s Cup of the Czech Republic in Indonesia."
Despite some unpredictable weather, the tournament was filled with excitement, laughter, and a friendly atmosphere. The grand prize was claimed by Gusde Sidharta, who scored an impressive 73 points. However, the competition remained tight, and after a tiebreaker, Daniel Koudelka received the special "Frog of the Year" award. The Nearest to the Pin award went to Petr Novotný.
The tournament was not just about competition – it was an opportunity to spend quality time with the Ambassador and other participants, fostering new connections and strengthening our community.
Czech and Slovak Pre-Christmas Gathering
The evening program carried a festive spirit. Hosted by the Business Association of Czechs and Slovaks in Indonesia, the Pre-Christmas Gathering welcomed the Czech and Slovak community to the beautiful setting of Griya Santrian Hotel in Sanur.
The evening was filled with inspiration, providing a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the association’s mission, purpose, and benefits for our community. It was heartwarming to see people from different backgrounds connect, share experiences, and build new partnerships.
A highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony for the golf tournament, which added even more excitement and joy to the celebration. The night continued with live music, delicious food, and engaging conversations, creating an unforgettable pre-Christmas atmosphere.
